Google glass has the vision to be in the world and the visual world so that we are not switching worlds. Using this, they used a prototype to try to use different ideas. Prototyping is the best kind of thinking. Mr. Chi’s third rule is material move at the speed of thought to maximize your rate of learning. Using the weight from your nose, Mr. Chi was able to find how much the glasses had to weigh. This was in the Ted Talk Google Glass By Tom Chi. Learning from Mr. Chi, it helped me realize that in my projects that prototyping and experimenting with my design is the most important step. This will help me see the importance of the design phase. I will take this in account to my upcoming prototype.
Response to What is the Fourth Industrial Revolution?
The main question of this is who is going to work? Will robots take over? There needs to be a balance between the two of how much work will take over people while needing technology. Mark Pollock was the first person to use robot like technology to fight his nervous system so that a cure is possible for paralysis. Nina Tandon takes a three dimensional x ray and extract data to make a perfect puzzle piece. This will make a living bone from implantation for cancer. It can redefine what it means to be human. We need to make a line what is going to be natural or artificial. The original was the steam engine along communications and electricity. The 4th is bringing digital, physical, and biological things together. The ability to visualize to see the human brain will be interesting.

For our phone design, my partner Anthony and I decided to go a bit technical yet added our own twist. We wanted a phone holder that looked like a case holder, which holds the phone the best. We then made our objects with 3D carvings. We then superglued the places we wanted so that it holds, then made a speaker like sound system, which we curved the cardboard to us so that all the sound is projected to the viewer. That was our blueprint. We then added fun words onto it because I am very funky. The sound system actually did work and the phone fit in perfectly. Then we laser cutted the lawrenceville seal into a very unique way, in which we laser cutted it deeper. We then put our signatures on, a way to express ourself on a design.
