My idea for this project is to create a rectangular, house like base for the lamp, one that requires the sticking of wooden pieces to form the structure, similar to the picture below.

My focus for the light bulb project is finding and making a structure which will hold the light bulb. One of the challenges is structuring it in a way which allows for the material to not be affected by the heat of the lamp, in other words, finding an appropriate material to hold the light. My focus is to create several small wooden planks to form a cuboid, which would then allow me to give the cuboid a roof, holding the light bulb.
