I finally got the lamp in place, and I fixed the middle part, inside the walls so the proportions were right. I wasn’t able to join it, but I did move it very accurately. I don’t know how to pin it, because I can’t combine all of the parts.

Week 8

I tried to join the lamp but it didn’t work and I finished the base, but I need to extrude the middle more.

I created a temple castle with walls for the base. For the next step, I will create something in the middle for the lamp to go on so the wires can pass through.

I made the base more complicated and different, while keeping the temple wall idea there using techniques I have never used. But in class, I will make the tip on the side rods a new component so I can duplicate and joint it in the middle instead of guessing.

I finished the joint, but when I tried to join the parts I realized that I forgot to put it into separate components because I was following the video. In the video, the guy didn’t join it, he just moved it into place.
