1. Create a new design
2. Save = Parametric Box
3. Create a New Component = Front and Back
4. Create a New Sketch on the Front Plane

1. Under Modify > Change Parameters
2. Create three new Parameters
   • Bheight = 6
   • Bwidth = 4
   • Bthickness = .22

1. Create New Sketch on the Front Plane
   • Center Point Rectangle
   • Height = Bheight
   • Width – Bwidth
2. Delete diagonal construction lines

1. Select right vertical line
2. Offset = Bthickness
3. Draw line from bottom right corner to offset line

1. Select line
2. Under Create > Rectangular Pattern
   • Distance Type = Extent
   • First Quantity = 1
   • First Distance = 0
   • Second Quantity = 8
   • Second Distance = -Bheight
3. Uncheck Show Dimensions and Show Constraints to turn visibility off

1. Draw a vertical centerline
2. Mirror Finger Joint Layout

1. Type E for extrude
2. Select faces
3. Extrude = Bthickness

1. Create New Sketch on Face
2. Type P for project
3. Select Bodies to Project

1. Select bottom line
2. Offset = – Bthickness
3. Draw vertical line
4. Select vertical line
5. Under Create > Rectangular Pattern
   • Distance Type = Extent
   • First Quantity = 4
   • First Distance = – Bwidth
   • Second Quantity = 1
   • Second Distance = 0

1. Draw vertical and horizontal construction centerlines
2. Draw horizontal lines projecting finger layout to center
3. Draw vertical line
4. Dimension distance from center line to vertical line = Bthickness/2
5. Mirror vertical line

1. Finish Sketch
2. Select Faces
3. Extrude
   • Extent Type = All
   • Operation = Cut

1. Change parameters and check part for errors
