Phase 2: Exporting and Cutting

The sketches of the lamp were exported as DXF files and imported into Rhino to be used in the laser cutter.

Phase 3: Assembly

During assembly, the horizontal and side pieces were glued together. Magnets were glued to their respective arms and bars were put through to keep everything in place. A sticky strip of LED lights was secured on the upper arm piece.

Ping pong paddle project

Phase 1: Design

For the design phase, the following blueprint was used as inspiration. A handle piece and paddle piece were designed. Two handles would be cut out and one paddle would be cut out. The two handle pieces would then be glued on either side of the paddle.

Phase 3: Redesign

The paddle was redesigned in the second iteration to more closely resemble a typical ping pong paddle shape. The second design is shown being glued together above.
