After printing my project I stained the wood colors of my choice and let them dry over night.
Week 11

After doing what I did for homework, I made sure all my lines overlapped the way I wanted them to.

I fixed the widths of my lines to make sure they were all the same and the correct size for printing.

After my art dried I was able to add my light completing the project.

For my final layer I added more details to the middle. Now I am ready to print my final.

I built my project and used glue along with clamps to hold it together. I forgot to take a picture of the clamps on it so this was the best I had.

I experimented with different shapes in the negative space and in my work.

The boarders of my panels still had some left over things in them so I went through and cleaned them all up.

This is one of my failed tests where it went over my goat twice. I worked on this all class but I still need to figure out what is wrong with it.

After more tests I still needed to simplify my goat because it still wasn’t printing.
Week 8

I had to tweak the shading of my mountains to make the image pop out more.

I had to fix my lines to make it simpler because there were too many lines.

I had to clean up my vector through cuts on my mountain goat because it was not coming out the way I wanted it to. I removed lines to make it simpler so the wood cutter would have an easier time cutting it.

I continued to practice my skills on my practice Mandela. I struggled with finding a good way to incorporate shapes without over crowding my work.

I removed some of the lines and also edited the width of them. I did this because the image before was clunky so I wanted to clean it up.

Theme: Nature
I thought nature would be cool because it is so diverse and there is a lot to do with it. Im starting to draw out my flowers and trees along with seeing how they can go across the panels.

I finished up my outline to make sure that it would cut through the wood. I completed my online portion of the project and am now ready to start on the wood cutting part.
