Table Lamp Paragraph HW – 10/28/21:

We are going to be assigned to create a lamp. We’ll first draw it, create a cardboard prototype, build it on Fusion, then actually start to assemble it and test it in real life. We must make a desk lamp that turns on and off and uses a bulb to show light. I have a limited skill level and should stick to simple shapes, yet put them together to create a complex shape or design. I plan to use ideas and solutions from previous projects when building this project.

“What is the Fourth Industrial Revolution?” Paragraph Reflection:

In the video we learned a little bit about the history of technology and some examples of technology’s use in today’s world. This Tech Design class is a microcosm to the real world of STEM. We do simple or easy projects practice our skills or work on new ones and create a stronger base in the field that we could later grow. Although there may be the issue of technology jobs away from many, actually running and programming these machines is a job opportunity that this class prepares us for.
