Today for homework I researched how to create a light inside of the lamp for the fusion rendering but so far It has not worked. I watched two different videos on how to create lighting.

Tonight for homework I created the sticking out parts for my Kraken logo giving it some needed depth.

Today in class I created the back panel for the lamp shade and added screws for the back. then I hollowed out the middle of the base to allow the wire through. After I created the hole for the lightbulb to sit in. I also fixed my full scale sketch.

Tonight for homework I created my S for the kraken logo. I added the S for the best possible S. Then I moved my light bulb in the shade.

Today for homework I assembled my luminary and then created the base to 3d print at home.

Tonight for homework I created the base of the lamp and added some details following a similar design to the lamp shade I found but instead using it as a base for the lamp. I then added my lightbulb into the design to have a good grasp of how my scaling should be.

Tonight for homework I talked to my brother and asked him what he wanted for the lamp.
Problem statement: My brother has recently been struggling with getting the right atmosphere inside of his Man cave and wants more ambient light. I found that his theme inside of the room Was hockey related and he said he wanted blue for his favorite team the Seattle kraken. So I am going to add an ambient light that will glow enough to set the atmosphere.

Tonight for homework I finished the lightbulb and came up with an idea for what I might do for my lamp project. I thought about how I want my lamp to be ambient and set a light blue atmosphere and have the S set on the bottom stand of the second picture.

Today in class I cut out my final two panels and then I sprayed my panels to paint next class. After that I put the paper on the background of my first two panels.

Tonight I opened my computer and my files were corrupted from my computer and I don’t have any way of working on my project. I plan on finding the test file I saved to a usb to reupload it my computer.

Sorry for the late upload my computer was glitched for the last ten minutes of class so I had to upload my classwork now. today I worked on the final touches of the through cuts in my first panel and then created a simplified version of the second panel for better definition. After I started to work on the line work for panel two.

Today in class I created all of my line work for my first panel and added lots of contrast. I compared the two different cuts of wood, one with lines and contrast and the other before the additions.

Today I adjusted one of my panels because my work did not save so I had to redo the adjustments to my first panel and added some extra workings to simplify it to allow for a better print.

Tonight for homework I finished my 3rd panel by adding some clouds and started my now generations for the last panel. I made thorfinn’s final grown adult journey and added a simple calm background to represent his peacefulness which has been completed.
