Documenting Your Process

The following is stated on the Canvas syllabus page:

Documenting your process on the class blog site is a course requirement. You are required to make a separate post for each in-class and homework assignment on its due date. Each post must be clearly labeled as “homework” or “classwork” with its assigned due date.

  • Homework and in-class work assignments not submitted on time will receive a grade of 0.

Documenting your process on the class blog site provides an opportunity to reflect regularly on your work and use writing as a cognitive tool for improving your ideas/designs. It’s important to see this as a continuous assignment contributing to your term grade. As you progress through the design challenges, the significance of documenting your design process will increase. Your postings should discuss each step in the design process in detail and provide examples.

Homework Due 3/28/23

Today, I came up with rough concept sketches of certain components I wanted to include in my design. My design needs to be able to fit a lot in a small space, so understanding the individual components was really helpful.
