Define Your Challenge: (HW For 1/31)

The challenge I am taking on is creating my own lamp, meant for myself. I am working to make a lamp that uses the lightbulb given to me, and works with the skills I have developed so far in the term. The problem I have with my current lighting is that the light is not focused enough because my overhead light can be too strong when I am working late. In order to solve this I want to make a lamp that has a focused area of light and moves up and down, allowing for greater flexibility. Some of my constraints include:

• Time: I have a set amount of time to create this lamp, and should pace myself accordingly
• Design: while I would love to make an intricate design, I have to make something that I feel I have the skills for
• Material: in making my lamp, I have to be conscious of the material of my lamp, especially the flammability of it
