Renaissance: This one is mine

These are my 2 reference images
Gemini was able to capture the defining traits of the renaissance with a linear perspective guiding our way through the picture. It was able construct the architecture from Rome or Italy very well. What I think is convincing is that it used the “Tandem Redux” inscription on the top which in latin means reunion, also the adding of many sculptures truly adds to the renaissance vibe also I believe that the Ai understood the task including anatomy accurateIt humans with appropriate clothing and looks for the time. It struggled with making the image more engaging, in renaissance often something leads the eye around like a man pointing but the figures in my image seem very generic. Another thing that it struggled a lot with was to create good hazy transition of sfumato also the lighting is too directional and my last limitations which is due to the prompt is that the image seems very captured in one singular room while most renaissance paintings are more free. The convincing part shows how the high renaissance was very mathematical seeking precision with architecture and human bodies it also shows the limitations show the importance of lighting and transitions.

Analysis: The Ai generated image captures the color palate very well using warm field summer clothing and a green background these colors compliment each other and create the image also is able to capture the moment of a everyday act which makes it more convincing. I believe the AI was used the brush work very well using short strokes to define the grass and make the individual grass blades melt into each other and also for the background especially the tree is was able to utilize the thick strokes and fast painting style, for the human it made the strokes a bit more defined making them pop. I think something it could work one is the shadows even though they aren’t very dark they still create a strong contrast to the field. A major surprise for me is that it was able to capture the social aspect so perfectly making the family in the middle of action, yet the image draws the focus more to the bottom on like other impressionism images which draw the attention to the middle. I believe that this shows that impressionism primarily revolves around warm colors invoking joy but also that it captures everyday snapshots

Analysis. Pop art was the most awkward one to work with. It’a not that it didn’t understand the assignment clearly it just because there is so little detail involved in Pop you could notice when they were missing. Aside from that I think that the outcome turned out very well. It included things like the Ben-day dots very well but a thing that I noticed it that the ben day dots were not the thing that made up the skin tone rather just a inclusion on a already skin tone color. Also the thick lack and white outline came together quite well, just sadly a bit to perfect I believe it would be a bit bette when they are more uneven. The speech bubble was definitely a success it was easy to create and I believe is very convincing. I believe that overall Ai did a very good job but it wasn’t able to make it as mass-media styled as I hoped for.

Impressionism: The movement emerged in the late 1860s and reached its peak in the 1870s and 1880, it started in Paris France, with key artists featuring Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt and Camille Pissarro influenced by the invention of camera and the photography. It distincts itself from others with the brushwork, featuring short but thicker strokes, to go away from details and focus on the subject often connected with everyday life things. For the coloring work the artists focused on colors that complement each other, even avoiding using black for shadows, leading us to another key aspect: the lighting often outside capturing the natural beauty and light from the sun. Instead of painting about philosophical big themes they captured everyday life scenes creating an atmosphere with a lot happening.

In class and during consultation I printed out my 3 mandala layers and the found 3 fitting colors, sadly one of them got old so I found a new one and the painted them and let them air dry to the end of class .and we got left 15 min early

I finished my pop art prompt and in my design u can see a woman wanting blonde hair not her brown hair symbolizing how now a days especially with the rise of social media every one wants to perfect or want more, yet the man in the background compliments her brown hair showing how one doesn’t have to force thing on oneself to be perfect or loved but to be oneself it the key\
Prompt: Create a high contrast pop art image of a woman in the style of Roy Lichtenstein mimicking commercial printing, featuring darker brown hair , bold red lips with a bright beige as skin color. Use very thick black outlines and a white outline around it, with a blue background. in a comic style speech bubble spell out I WISH in yellow on a red background. After I brainstromed and tried a few Ideas in adobe I came to the conclusion that I create mountains as my luminary art, as I tried to create some rowing boats but failed miserably. I do this because the last time I saw my grandma we all went together hiking up a mountain. In the same trip we also climbed up the table mountain and lions head in south africa being able to see beutiful view from up there I fell in love with mountains.
