Prototyping is using outside materials to create a sketch of something. It’s usually used to test a concept and is downscaled. It is used for technology, electronics, software, and many more. We somewhat used a digital prototype with Fusion360. Prototyping is a physical form of note-taking. 

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is bringing together digital, physical, and biological systems. The video says that the Industrial Revolution doesn’t change what we’re doing, but it changes us. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is changing all around making technologies such as artificially intelligent robots, self-driving cars, genetic editing, and many more things. The Industrial Revolution is happening at exponential rates, and it will continue to change the world. 

I believe that the focus of this project is to make a really good table lamp, and the hardest problem will be the making of the shaded part and fitting the light bulb into the actual lamp. The toughest part will also be the actual design process- what will it be made of and how will mend the parts together? I think I’ll have to conduct some research in order to find out previous lamps have been made and start from there. And with what it’ll be made of, I think wood will do.  Along with maybe a 3D printed portion for the shade portion.
