final 11/17: here is my final design of my lamp stand. I decided to change around the appearance of the table and my base.

classwork 11/11- today in class i made the table and scaled my light.

homework 11/11-for homework i worked on fixing my hinge because if was a little off centered and the glass didn’t join correctly. But, when I tried to save my project it said that the project was in another team and was unable to be saved (so I need to fix that first before I make anymore changes).

classwork 11/9- today in class I worked some more on the appearance of my lamp (changing the colors some more) and then I also worked on fixing some of the buttons because they were off centered.

Homework 11/9- for homework, I colored the lamp and made the base. I made the base similar to the one from the led lamp project.

classwork 10/7- in class today I added the base, I also worked on fixing some of my button and I worked on the pathway for the wire. The wire is going to go through the hole on the bottom of the camera and down to the base (where I need to make another hold inside to extrude downwards so the wires will go inside.

homework 11/6- for homework I added on the stand for my camera light and made the area adjustable so that you can change the base of the angle of lamp. I am probably going to make a base in class tomorrow to make the stand more sturdy.

classwork 11/3- today in class started to work on my leg stand for my camera. I also made the rod for the light bulb.

homework 11/3: for homework, i created a hinge for my back screen lens. I created this hinge by making a rectangle, then creating a circle and extruding it in order to get the curved part. Then I created another circle inside that circle and cut that part out to create the hole. I repeated this process twice and then joined my two hinge parts together using the revolute tool. Tomorrow for class I am going to create my stand and work on the wiring.

classwork 11/2- in class i finished up what i had to redo in class. I also decided to make a hinge to place on the back in order for the back lends to open and close (to be used when someone needs to change the bulb).

homework 11/2- for homework i unfortunately had to restart most of the work i did today in class because my work didn’t save and i was unable to get the work back. So after attempting to recreate the work I did in class today, I added i some more buttons and a rod for which i will connect the light too.

classwork 11/1– today in class i worked more on the camera and added in a flash part at the top (more for decoration), but I might make it more useful later). I also made the inner lens revolve around the outer lens in order to “adjust the brightness” of the light. I also added in some other buttons.

homework 10/31- for homework I decided I wanted to make a camera that acted as a light. I first used the circle tool to create the lens and then used the rectangle and eclipse tools to create the body. I also created a little structure inside the lens that will hold the light in place (so it doesn’t move). Tomorrow during class, I want to try and made the lens turn and move (to adjust the brightness).

classwork 10/31- today in class I worked more on my map and made my lamp shade and some one the bottom part of my lamp (i am probably going to delete the feet later, but i am not sure). I also started to made the bit that will attach the long chord to the shade.

classwork 10/28– today i created more sketches and started to make my base and the the top shade for the lamp. I am probably going to make a more in depth sketch later once i have finalized my lamp idea

homework 10/27- for homework, i created a series of different types of lamp designs. I created some that are room lamps while others are desk lamps.

classwork 10/25– today in class I made the lamp by using the sketch given to us. I then used the revolve tool to make the shape of the lamp
classwork 10/18– today, I finished my phone stand as i edited my bottom stand (made it thinner) and then I decided to add an airpod case onto the bottom of my stand.
homework 10/18- i continued work on the phone stand and figured out how to make the base spin. I used a ball and then using the joint tool and the motion (of revolver) I connected the base to the ball to make the spinning effect. i also used the as joint tool to connect the pineapple and phone to the base. I also decided to add another base on the bottom for addition support.
classwork 10/17- today in class I continued work on my phone stand, I decided to make the plate moves around like a turntable.
Classwork 10/14- today for class I added more leaves onto the pineapple, then I decided to change the angle of the stand so it would better support my phone. I also finished gluing together the bottom piece onto the lamp.
homework 10/13- for homework, I started to work on my phone stand. I decided to make a pineapple/thistle as it is the mascot for my house (McClellan). I also made a base for the phone with little knobs to adjust the angle of the phone.
Classwork 10/7- in class i finished my led lamp as I finished placing all the hardware into the lamp and screwed them in.

Homework 10/6- for homework I created my ideas for a cell phone stand. The first design was a simple holder with edges on the side to hold the phone in place. My second design was fairly similar but instead the base was a longer wire/cord. My third design was a thing backing with edges on the side that had a sticky backing so that it can stick onto a wall or a book to prop up the phone. My last design was just a simple circular sticky backing with circles on the back to fit your fingers (to hold the phone stand).

Classwork 10/4- I finished/updated the rest of my phone dimensions. I also worked on putting in the hardware for my led lamp. But, the cork screw of my lower arm didn’t fit so with Mr. Brodie’s help we expanded the hole and shaped the metal so that it would be flushed to the metal on the base verticals.

classwork 10/3- in class today i finished up my phone and then added color to the outside of the phone. I also cut out the base plates and then I glued the metal and the base verticals. Also included is a full picture view of my led lamp
homework 10/3- I finished putting in the buttons for the bottom of the phone and I also put in the buttons for the back of the phone. I also created the card holder by using the fit point spline button and I extruded the objects form there. I then filleted all the buttons on the phone to make then curved.
homework 9/29- I worked on creating the first outlines of my phone. First I created a rectangle then I extruded it and filleted it. Afterwards, I created the buttons on both sides of the phone. Lastly, I created and extruded the back camera on the back of the phone.
Classwork 9/27- today in class we made an orthographic drawing of our phones. We got the dimensions of the sides and the thickness of our phones.
Classwork 9/23- Today in class, I glued together the arm arm pieces using the wood glue. I also attached on the large metal disc and the base plates to the lower arm.
homework 9/23- while watching the video, I created the base plates. I did this by creating four circles and then using the extrude button I cut out the shapes. I then created the bottom part of the base using the project and offset buttons. Then I created a new component and again using the project tool, I created the top, then afterwards I extruded the semicircle on the bottom
Classwork 9/20- today in class I attached the bases onto the lower arms. I also work on laser cutting some of my pieces. I then sanded and glued in the magnets of the piece.
Classwork 9/16- While watching the video, I created the base plate. I created two circles and using the offset buttons I created the notches on the larger circle. I then extruded the circle 0.22 inches
Homework 9/15- While watching the videos, I created the lower arm horizontal. I then used the project button to create the horizontal piece. Afterwards, I extruded the piece and used the combine feature to cut off the edges. Then, I created the circles and rectangles (also using the project button) in the lower arm horizontal.
Classwork 9/13/2022- In class today, I attached on the lower side arm to the horizontal upper arms using the joint feature. I also attached on the smaller discs to the horizontal arm.
Homework 9/12- While watching video, I created the lower side arm and I also created the small and large discs. For the lower arm, I created circles and then using the tangent button I made the lines for arm. I then used the rectangle pattern to make the rectangles evenly spaced apart.
Classwork 9/12/2022- Today in class I built the base vertical. I first built the circle first and then built the rectangle and using the constraint button I placed the circle in the rectangle and then created the legs on the bottom.
Classwork 5/9/2022- Today in class I added in the cork in between the the circles. I also created smaller circle and add them to the sides of the arm.
Homework 9/7/2022- While watching the video, I followed the steps and created a new component. WIth the new component, I created a horizontal upper arm. I used the rectangle feature and then I used the coincident feature. Afterwards I extruded the object and then used the modify button and cut out some of the rectangular shape.
Classwork 5/6/2022– Today in class I worked on creating the inner circles of the upper side arm and I worked on creating the rectangles inside the arm. I also duplicated the upper side arm and used the joint feature to separate them.
