CW on 5/27 Completed Lamp

HW for 5/27 I worked on building lamp

CW on 5/25 I glued the parts together and cut a hole for the lamp at the bottom for the lamp to have an imaginary cord. The line is the cord, even though the cord would be thicker in real life.

HW for 5/25 Last night I reprinted the wood and today I glued the magnets

Extra Work on 5/22 I did not change anything except for editing the width of the light orange component that the phone rests on because it was too wide and overlapped between the circle on the left and was not realistic for it to fit because it was 3.833 in. I fixed it to 3.8 in and now it fits and looks correct

Update 5/20 at night I added the phone, the rotating part is the top circle parts connected to the top part

CW in 5/20 I remade the phone design in class and it has a rotating joint for the phone holder

CW on 5/17 I cut the parts out and worked 30 min after class to sand the parts too

HW for 5/17 I added some components to the lamp, I will do an extra HW assignment another day because I had a track meet last Saturday and art was not on the schedule so I forgot I had to do homework for it.

HW for 5/13 I changed the steps of the lamp and made them shorter and will continue to work on it for the next HW too but in class, I will print the LED lamp

hw FOR 5/10 I made a shade and a string which is the plug but somehow the bulb disappeared and I spent 10 min trying to get it back but I will just ask in class

CW in 5/9 consult I caught up with the bulb model and will start the lamp design for homework

CW 5/3 new phone stand, i will continue to make the phone stand at the correct angle so I can fit a hole for the phone charger

HW for 4/29 this is a new design, now I have to figure out how to make the phone more upright

4/23 Finished Project I tried my best but I need to work on being able to make the circular pattern. Everytime I clicked it right clicked so I had to restart my computer and that is why the post is a little late

CW on 4/19 I finalized my drawing and restarted my drawing and am in a good place. It is straightforward now so I should not have any complications with not being able to complete the homework

HW for 4/19 I worked on the phone but I do not know how to round the corners so I will ask in class today

CW for 4/15 I have completed the model. In class next, I will start printing the pieces and glue them together

HW for 4/15 I have almost completed the base, I just need to create the bottom. I was able to extrude part of the bottom but then my computer would not let me right-click to make a new component.

CW on 4/12 I have almost completed the base plate and made the upper vertical piece and combined it with the top of the base. I will finish the base for homework.

HW for 4/12 I made and extruded the holes in the lower horizontal and made part of the base. I got all the steps correct up to extruding the base right with the correct circles and shapes on top, but when I extruded it they all disappeared. In class, I will ask how to fix the base and start to print out the model on the laser printer, sand it down, and begin to glue in the magnets

CW for 4/11 I got to complete extruding the lower horizontal after redoing the rectangle a few more times, and now I will make the holes in the lower horizontal for HW

HW for 4/11 I really should have this part done but I am having a lot of trouble with extruding the lower horizontal part. I redid it and chose the right side this time, but it would not let me use the dimension tool in inches, it was in degrees for some reason and I do not know how to switch it. I have to do a test Monday and Tuesday consult, so I will come Wednesday to make sure I am caught up.

CW 4/8 I fixed the line because I was clicking and dragging instead of just clicking. I made the rectangle and was trying to extrude it for most of the class while rewatching the video a few times and I realized I put the line on the inside instead of the outside. I am basically back to where I was for homework and will finish this along with the assignment for Monday before the class on Monday.

Hw for 4/8 I started extruding the lower horizontal arm but when I drew the line it was a curve instead of straight so I will ask how to fix it in class. I will finish extruding it in class.

CW 4/5 I have finished the sketch for the lower arm, completed the large and small discs, extruded the lower arm and made a copy, and assembled the lower arm and plates with joints. Next, I will extrude the lower horizontal and use the combine tool to create joinery.

HW for 4/5 making lower arm- I know I am behind because it deleted the last time I tried to make the dxf file and I am trying to use the dimension key but it does not let me change the distance and says it has to make a driven dimension, so I clicked on it but it would not let me change the distance between the lines to 0.6 so this is how far I am.
