





Challenges: A challenge during this Project was creating a rear differential for my car that would fit the dimensions of the area I had to work with. Additionally I began learning how to use fusion 360 as a new design software because of the advanced design capabilities.

Designs: Drawing and Ideas
In Drawing these Ideas I must take into consideration the power of the engine and how much power this IRS must withstand. The Engine is of considerable size and will require a strong and sturdy form to hold up in the car.
Inspiration: One day in the summer I had the sudden desire to design and build a car under the formula one design. Although I did go through many designs, my main inspirations came from the design of hill climb cars and Cross Karts, both had speed and both had suspension.






Final Project: Car Differential, Steering, and IRS(Independent Rear Suspension) Design
The design process and item for this project will revolve around the design and fabrication of my Car, a project I have been working on since the beginning of the summer of 2019. I am currently finished the independent suspension located in the front of the Car and now require the rear suspension of the vehicle, however, the Differential of the vehicle must be completed first.
Test Mode: Feedback
I built a prototype to present to my client. The cardboard structure was a quick prototype and worked perfectly. The volume was right and took up a valid amount of the desk space while not looking out of place in it environment. The height was perfect and did not seem as though it was towering over the other objects on his dresser.
Prototype Mode: Built and Tested
I built a prototype to present to my client. I Will be removing the charging aspect of the model as there are no outlets in the area of the room that the organizer will be placed.


Ideate Mode: Ideas for which my project with embody
The main concept i need for this desk organizer is a place for my brother to store his records that are constantly in disarray on his dresser next to his record player. To give volume to the structure, i would like to include a drawer in which he can store wires and other small gadgets as well as a small mantel area in which his phone can be set. A writing utensil box will also be included in the design.


Define Mode: Defining the right problem and constraints
The constraints of this projects will only allow me to build this desk organizer to a certain extent. The first constraint is the amount of materials that are allowed for this build. We do not have an unlimited amount of resources for this project. The Second constraint is the time that I have to build this design. Working within only a few weeks, the design can not be tweaked many times or it will take a long. The finL constraint i will be working with is the desk space. Give that i want this organizer to remain on the desk and organize his books, i need to conserve space and still allow room for a computer.

- Q. What do you struggle with organizing in you room
- A. Desk space, my records usually end up on the floor as i have nowhere to stack them.
- Q. what other things do u wish you could have on you desk?
- A I really need a few containers to have pencils and pens as well as space for paper clips and stuff.
- Q. If i made you a desk organizer, what aspects would you want me to include?
- A I would like, as i said before, some space for pens and pencils and small erasers and stuff. as-well as a place for charging my phone and calculator. I would also like a place to store my records. Also a place for lined paper to be stored so i don’t have to keep going into my binders for new pieces of paper.
The Original Industrial Revolution was driven by the Idea that you could use steam engine to do almost anything, we are now in the fourth industrial revolution. In the fourth industrial revolution we are bringing together digital and biological technology. Exploring the brain has allowed us to make significant scientific discoveries. Mans goal focuses on always improving and growing. Clean energy is the next step for humans. Creating a world with clean soil, clean air, clean water with be a world where we are not struggling to find a solution combat climate change. The idea of scientific discovery can be the key to changing the world and how we manage problems around us.
Rapid Prototyping for our model has begun. The phone stand and sound amplifiers have been constructed and just need to be attached. The process is moving quickly and efficiently.
When in the beginning stages of designing something, finding the closest path to the experience your are trying to achieve is what sets the base for which your project can grow from. The google glasses began with a design that took only a day for be formulated. The second rule is, “doing is the best thinking”. The third rule is “use materials that move at the speed of thought to maximize to rate of learning. Through the process of prototyping we are able to learn quickly. Rapid prototyping gets more done, quicker.
