Finished all the vector etching and negative space tracing for all the panels. Still need to change some of the colors and contrast for the first panel, but everything else is done.

I kept working on the vector etching, mainly for the two middle panels. I’m tracing out the wings and feathers and the scales.
Completed all the negative space tracing for all the panels and I started working on the vector etching for all of them as well.

Today in class, I worked on the negative space tracing, finishing about one and a half panels.

I changed the themes of my panels. I chose dragons and phoenixes to represent the Chinese new year since they are the most important animals. I generated the images and grayscaled them.

I worked on tracing the negative space for my luminary panel project. I also grey scaled my images so I knew what to trace out.

I changed my theme to dinosaurs and I put in my rectangles and had the AI generate my four panels.

I finished my pencil box project and am waiting to print it out and assemble it. I started working on the luminary project and have started generating some images of the panels that I want.

I finished the vector etching for the snowman so all of my panels should be done and good to be printed.
Week 5

I test printed another two of my images today to see how the vector etching looked like. I plan to increase the contrast between some of the colors in my images and print out the negative space as well. I have also almost finished etching my final panel out.

I finished tracing the negative space for the snowman and grey scaled the image, so all that’s left is the vector etching.

I grey scaled the image of the snowman and I completed most of the negative space tracing for it.

I finished the vector etching for my third panel of the outdoor hockey rink in the mountains and I also generated the last image for my final panel, which is a snowman.

I continued working on the vector etching for both images, and I finished the vector etching for the two images. I’m going to test print them and finish the last image.

Finished the vector etching for the picture with the snowboard in it and I finished tracing the negative space for the image on the right. I’m going to continue doing the vector etching for the pictures.
Week 4

I finished tracing the negative space for all three of my images and I also printed out a first test panel. I’m working on the vector etching and trying to contrast the colors.

I finished generating images that I liked and I traced out all the negative space for my images, and I’m almost done with the etching for the snowboard image. I also put all my images in grayscale.

My computer broke so I restarted by generating new images following people doing winter activities like hockey, snowboarding, and ice fishing

Finished the negative space tracing and started working on the etching. I also worked on grayscale and other stuff, but I might change my images because I don’t really like them.

I worked on outlining the negative space for my images, I finished the first two.

I worked on adding backgrounds to the cat and made some changes to make the monkey picture more enjoyable. I also worked on making the backgrounds well spaced and making the animals the central subject of the images.

Today in class, I worked on generating AI images for the panels. I had the AI generate images of animals.

Worked on the shading and etching on the inside of the arch and added more details to it. Also worked on the details above the arch to make it more complete overall.

Dec 5th – I worked on some of the details in my image and I’m almost finished with the etching. I’m probably going to fill in more of the space around my etches as well.
Tue, Dec 3 CW – image of work completed in class
Dec 3rd – For my concept, I did a cathedral that I visited in Spain, since my overall theme is traveling the world and looking at the unique architecture of different countries. I’m going to include something like an airplane overhead to visually convey a story.
