I created this presentation about the Art movements and generated teh images using detailed AI prompts. Although, at first, I was running into dificulties with actually capturing concepts and creating an artwork that will represent the movement, the more I tried, the better was the result.

For homework I created the flag image that I need to print out now.
Also I generated all of the artwork for the AI project. Even though in the previous class I had problems with generating the images for Cubism, I got the subscription for the midjourney and it made me a good Cubism artwork that actually shows the image from different perspectives and angles.
For the 3rd one I did pop-art which was easy and it gave me an image that followed the promt almost immediately.

I tried to create the AI images for the Cubism, however it wasn’t giving me any good results that were actually Cubism, because it was not showing it to me from different angles and perspectives.

Created all of my surrealistic images. For the first one it took me 48 trials. Second one 63, and the 3rd one took me 27.

Drilled the holes in the boxes and glued the whole project together.

Worked the whole Sunday since 1pm untill 9pm on the project. Glued the last two boxes together nad made sure that there are no cracks. Wired the light component.
Week 8

Continued working on the boxes. I sanded the parts and continued gluing it together. By the end of class I had 2 completely glued together boxes with the tubes. I will start working on wiring it on Sunday.

Came during consultatition to drill the holes in the boxes. Also started on putting the boxes together and putting glue on it. Also put the tubes that I 3d printed into the holes that I drilled, glued them in place, sanded around it so no glued can be vissable and took off the exsess glue off of the tubes themeselves. Completed all 3 paragraphs of reserch for the last assignment. I chose Surrealism, Cubism and Pop Art. The photos of the boxes are in the classwork just becasue I was working through consul and the class, so I did not take the picture at the en of consul to capture how much I have done for “homework”.

50 mins class. 3d printed the hold for the box and tried to put together the box for my central structure.

During parents weekends I worked on the structure that will hold the box in place when I will be making a hole in it with a drill. Also I worked on my mandala project and the negative space.

built and glued all of the stained pieces together into a cage. Also glued the centerpiece with the rubes inside.

For the homework I worked on my mandala project making sure that everything is on the right layer. Refining some of the pieces and creating an over-all shape.

Sunday: I came in 1 pm and printed out the other 2 panelns for boxes and put paper on them.
Then we realized that the boxes need to be connected with tubes for the wire to go through and I created the 3d printed piece in fusion and then printed it out.
Afterwards, I made holes in the boxes and arranged them with the tube inside.
I also sanded again and stained the pieces of the luminary.
Additionally, I worked on my mandala design.

Printed out all of the circle parts, after failing multiple times as the printer was not cutting it all the way through or burning it. during consultation.
Adittionally, I started working on the mandala design.

Came in on Sunday and worked the whole day on and off (combining it with robotics) from 1 pm to 9 pm. Finally have panels for 2 of the boxes, which is half of the boxes that I want to do. I glued them and put up the paper.

Today I did a lot of work and progress on my design
Rethinking my design during concil and adding some imagery to make it convey the message better.

For homework I tried to explore the 3d pentagon shape and create finger joint, but it did not add up. So I came for council and we decided to scratch the pentagon idea and just go with the square. I will continue my expirimentation on this shape and how to create it in wood outside of class.

Design Paragraph Luminary Idea
In this piece I wanted to convey the frustration of inability to change the current political and social state of the world, or, sometimes, even speak up about it. I am from a country people cannot freely express their disconstent about the government. Networks that oppose the system get banned and people in it face a lifetime jail sentence.
On the other hand, this piece also portrays frustration of not being heard or believed as a woman. Women are always underestimated and undermined in all aspects of life, from professional to home settings. The countless number of women who were not listened to or believed due to various reasons in trials and police stations. I want this piece to express the desire to speak up and to be heard, to oppose and to not fear, to tell the truth and be believed.
As for the imagery: it is going to be the mouths of different people that I will take photos of and then layer by layer make them 3d. They will connect to the center structure that has the light so it will shine through the mouths like words coming out of it. But this whole structure will be inside of a bird cage symbolizing the inability to speak up.

For this homework I really focused on the negative space and the cut through. Last class I tried to cut the intricate details and it did not work out. So i changed the location of the negative spaces.

Today, I completed all of the digital work and started working on the actual wood. I tried a lot of different speed and power, but did not like any of the versions. I am going to re work my design and the negative spaces for the homework and make it again next class.

Today, I really worked on the line work making it less detailed and simplier. Also, I created a layer with just the line work and almost finished doing the negative space.
