Homework Due 4/4/23

Homework Due 4/3/23
As stated in my Problem Statement, My client, Aiden LI stated that he needs an organizer that is simple to use, creative, and with different means of storage for different types of equipment, differing from some of my prototypes, which focused more on form over function. With my final model, I added many places for storage, so that he would be able to store his pencils, pens, and paper. After seeing prototypes, he also stated that he would like the ability to route his cables, for his keyboard, Laptop, and Phone. Along with this, he suggested more personalization, so in my final sketches, I decided to add space for engravings for his name and sport related imagery.

Promblem Anaylisis and Statement
Aiden Li is someone who needs an appliance that will be easy to use, feature-packed and creatively designed that will allow him to store some stationery, while also having modularity for digitalized work. He is not someone who cares much for complex materials or complicated add-ones but still likes customization and personalization, as someone who enjoys basketball golf, creative colors, and aesthetics. Based on this information, I will design a box with compartments for pencils, markers, and paper, a stand for a marker, and a phone charging hole. It will have colorful, sport-based engravings on the outside and an ambient lighting strip to backlight these engravings.

- What are colors, hobbies and designs, and things that interest you?
