I finished all online modeling of parts for desktop organizer, pencil box, and had one small error for the led lamp as I put 3/4 holes on the upper horizontal. I finished the pencil box fully. Through the process I was ahead but some pieces were taken that I printed out putting me way behind.

I printed out all parts and started to glue. My desktop organizer front needs to be cut-out again as it wasn’t correct. I also need to print out the led lank horizontal part as mine was also not correct. I gued but took part because horrizontal was wrong.

I was still confused through homework. I was confused in class and that carried over to the homework. I emailed Mr Brodie and we worked it out. There was no consult time to get caught up.

I was very confused in class. I was trying to put the large triangle jointed with the back but it was out of order and I tried to find ways around it but I couldn’t find a solution.

I finished the bottom and back pieces. I also cut out the bottom to fit and put in the bottom holes for the pieces to go through the bottom to stay locked in place.

I glued together the parts and finished the led lamp on fusion. I created and finished the base plate and connected.

I started combining all the parts into the one lamp. I used the base plate to connect to the lamp through creating a center point that was needed.

I created the base plate and also started working on the base verts. I learned to make the smaller circles within the extruded circle.

I learned how to put in holes and rectangles in pattern. I learned how to create the rectangle and how to dimension it across the plan in the right order. I had a little trouble when I tried to put the second set of rectangles.

I put in the magnets with glue. I learned how to use the sand machine to make both sides of each component nice. I also learned how to set up the magnets on the board and mix the glue.

I learned how to join the two parts together side by side. I learned how to put the metal plates onto the side of the arms and connect the upper and lower arms together by first putting the plates.

I learned how to create the two plates in small and larger formats. I also learned in class how to use rhino and make my parts to print. I went through the process of starting up the machine, using the computer and creating my parts.

Today in class I learned how use the rhino. I learned how to get started on creating my led lamp for laser cut the wood. I also learned the correct steps in order on how to set up rhino and import files.

In this component of the horizontal upper arm I learned how to put the rectangle in formation with the smaller boxed cutouts. I also learned how to combine the two parts of the new component to each side of the arms.

I learned how to use the copy and paste tool when using the same piece twice. I also learned how to join the two pieces together within the right distance.

I learned how to use the tangents to create the line and circles together. I also learned how to take out parts of the circle I do not need when creating the inner part. I learned how to create the horizontal lines too.
