In class I finished cutting out and engraving my parts. I sanded them down afterwards and then I began to assemble and glue them together.

I can’t do anything because my illustrator file is on the computer in GCAD and I don’t really have nothing else to do but print out the other parts. So there’s gonna be no picture here too.

I don’t have a image because I was rushing to get to our house meeting, I cut out some parts and spent most of my time fixing each layer and trying to make it see through, also fixing the sizes because one came out the wrong size. I even spent some time during consult to do this.

I remade the car one because the contrast wasn’t enough and I sorted all the layers for printing by each ones quality Vector cut would be to cut holes and I chose raster engrave to make all the designs, but I might change it based on how it looks.

In class I began to experiment using illustrator and the engraver setting on the laser cutter. I figured out that I have to give some pictures more contrast. I also began to learn about the different methods of printing, like raster, vector,

For Homework I completed the Images on the sides of the pencil case.

I finally cut out and sanded down all my parts for the desktop organizer and I felt very happy that I finally completed it. I sadly didn’t take a photo in class of it because I was rushing to get to my other class.

I worked a little bit on the pencil case, I was experimenting with some designs in illustrator.

While I was waiting to cut out my parts I began to work on the pencil case and I made the model in fusion and I exported the dxf files to work on the vector designs on illustrator.

After redoing the entire interior I finally fixed the problem and the design and now I’m ready to fabricate everything.

After a little bit of trying to fix the current problem I had, i settled on going back to where I began and start with the four sides.

I waited till class to work on it becuase I didn’t know how to fix my problem

I tried to fix the model, and I cut out some parts but I had more problems doing it.

I worked on the model trying to fix my previous errors.

I kept trying to fix the problems in class I made some good progress, I remade the back vertical and I use the combine tool to make sure it fit with the other parts. The front vertical and one of the sides I have to work on.

fixing model, the bottom was made incorrectly

There were many mistakes that I had to fix, I didn’t get to all of them and I have to fix them to cut everything out. The mortices and tenons were not built correctly.

Waiting to cut out my parts. Everything was done.

I FINISHED THE ENTIRE THING and now ready to cut pieces.

there was nothing needed to be done

I finished making the triangle divider part of the organizer and the base vertical as well as making the holes for the parts as well.

No homework needed.

I made the back of the organizer as well as the bottom.

no homework needed

I worked further on the desktop organizer by completing the front of it and fixing up the sides.

I separated the two sides of the desktop by around nine inches.

WE STARTED TO WORK ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE DESKTOP ORGANIZER!

Optional hw

I Cut out the baseplate and began to assemble my lamp

Waiting to cut out my baseplate

I glued my arms together and also epoxied my plate, I also got the file for the baseplate

I CUT out my lower arm and sanded it

I made the bases and the plates using the extrude and project tool many times

I finished modeling the lower arm completely and I had it ready to cut. I also worked on the base and the vertical.

COMPLETED THE LOWER ARM JOINERY using the project command, many lines, trim tool, combine tool. extrude. Also cut out holes, its not in the pic.

We worked on making the lower arm horizontal

we sanded down our arms and we also put on the magnets

Today we cut out our parts for the upper arm and began to work on finishing the lower arm.

We connected the lower arm to the upper arm as well as the small plates in between by using the join command

We saved our sketch DXF files and learned how to move them into the computer for the lazer cutter, and we learned how to use the software and how to prepare the lazer cutter.

We made our metal plates large and small, and also made. the lower arm side.

Today we finished the upper arm of our lamp, we duplicated the first side and spaces them out, we also used patterns to make the holes in our design.

We used the project and extrude tool to make the joinery, and then used the combine and cut tool so that the joinery would fit the mortise.

Today we learned how to make another box, a box with a lid, we learned how to extrude, sketch, and project.

I learned how to make a sketch of one of the arms for the LED lamp project by utilizing the tangent command and the trim command, as well as the line and circle.

We installed fusion 360, we created our first 3d object in fusion and we learned how to upload our work into wordpress.
