Made some progress on completing the IRL model of the led lamp project (attaching the lower arm magnets), and was in the queue in waiting on printing the desktop organizer and the base of the led lamp.

N/A

I finished the three small triangles between the two back and front verticals and made their joints to successfully finish the project

I created the dxf sketch files so I should be ready to get printing tomorrow

I solved the issue with my joints on the bottom and the back vertical and successfully finished the back vertical by using the combine cut tool. Then I did the large triangle and successfully used the joint tool and combine tools to put the triangle in the right spot.

I did the front vertical and cut the joints out, so i only have the three triangles left

Today I was very productive I did the front sketch and extruded the front and then I did the bottom really quickly

Tried to cut back vertical out to make the joinery on the bottom but it didn’t work and there was an issue, but I did everything basically before that

Today we started on the desktop organizer and I completed the sketch for the left side of the organizer in class today.

Extruded the sketch I made in class and copy and pasted a new extrusion of the left side, which i renamed right side. then, I jointed the two components by selecting them with a point on the bottom point of the diagonal, setting the distance to 9.5625

Finished both base verticals and attached them by joint onto the lower arm

For homework, I attached the whole extruded base to the base verticals using the joint command by creating two lines to make the point where the joint will go. Now the lamp model is basically complete.

Made a lot of progress today and finished the lower arm horizontal piece, completing the lower arm. I’m really happy that I learned all the commands like project and joint, and using tools that we already used like coincident and extrude.

Did the first sketch of the base plate with the little notches on the 0.77 diameter circle and the small circle next to the big circle

Joined the lower arm, upper arm, and metal disks. Began and will finish extruding the horizontal lower arm piece for HW

The work we did apart from learning how to laser cut a wooden piece. I need some further guidance on laser cutting, so can you help me since I am first in the queue.

Our upper arm we made in class today

After the copy pasting and joint:
