Today I put the magnets and the plates on the lower arm and glued it together.

Wed, Jan 8 HW – image of completed homework

For homework, I completed modeling the base and the base verticals, so all I need to do is connect the base to the lamp. I will do this in class when I get back and also glue the upper arm together.

Thur, Dec 19 CWW – image of completed classwork

I cut out my upper arm parts again, this time with the correct spacing. I didn’t have time to glue it, so I will do that when I get back from break.

Thur, Dec 19 HW – None

Wed, Dec 18 CW – image of work completed in class

In class, I glued together the upper arm and magnets and also cut out the parts for the upper arm. Unfortunately, the holes on the upper arm were too close to the edge, so I have to print it again on Thursday.

For homework, I worked on the holes in the lower arm horizontal.

Mon, Dec 16 CW – image of work completed in class

In class, I extruded the lower arm and connected the lower and upper arms with joints. I also created the connector between the lower arms. Also, I sanded down my laser-cut parts for the upper arm and made them cleaner.

Mon, Dec 16 HW – image of completed homework

For homework, I created the lower arm sketch and the two metal disks that will be in the final design. This was similar to the upper arm, except different dimensions and not yet making the joint and extrusion of the lower arm.
