I finished modeling my organizer in fusion (I made the front vertical, small triangles, back, and cut them out of the bottom.) Next class, I’ll print out all of my pieces.

I finished the large angle by extruding it from my sketch and jointing it to the right side. I also cut out the large angle from the bottom and base vertical.

I connected my arms, inserted the on/off switch into my base plate, and attached the led strip onto my upper arm.

I sanded my base, reattached the plates onto my lower arm, attached my base verticals onto the base plate, and screwed things onto my lower arm.

Today, I cut out my base plate and verticals and finished assembling the lower arm.

Combined the base and the lamp components. I also cut out my lower arm components and began gluing the pieces together.

Today, I cut out the pieces of my arm and used resin to glue magnets in the holes.

I used rigid joints to connect the small metal plates to the upper arm and revolute joints to connect the lower arm to the small metal plates.

I uploaded my sketch onto Rhino and tried to use the laser cutter. I messed up my wood because I forgot to set the material thickness but I’ll redo it next class.

Projected the top profile of the horizontal onto a new sketch. Also, we learned how to use the laser printers.

Today, I worked on creating the sides and top of the lamp arm. I learned how to make joints and duplicate components.

I finished the top of my lamp arm by using the combine function to cut out the overlapping parts between the sides (blue) and the top (yellow).

I followed the video and sketched the side profile of my lamp’s upper arm. The video taught us how to use the trim and tangent functions.
