Classwork 2-29-24

I am done gluing both pencil boxes and have completed everything I needed to complete in this class for the term.

Classwork 2-26-24

I successfully finished my LED lamp, and it is fully functional. Now, I will focus on the pencil boxes.

Classwork 2-22-24

I continued the process with my LED lamp, deciding to finish it before printing any of my pencil boxes out. I made a lot of progress, with the only thing left being attaching all of the wires together.

Classwork 2-21-24

I started gluing my base plate and the base verts together, leaving it in this position until the next class.

Classwork 2-19-24

I successfully finished my project, making it so that it works even when I change the parameters. I am now ready to print this project out in multiple different materials. I also started and successfully finished gluing my lower arm.

Classwork 2-15-24

Although it looks like I made little to no progress today, in reality, I redid my entire project, since, for most of my values, I forgot to set them equal to the parameter. Therefore, restarting my project was the best option for me. I managed to make it back to where I was today in a new project.

Homework 2-15-24

I cropped my two sketches correctly, extruded each of them, and copied each of them twice in order to successfully create my box with all of the creases in the correct spots.

Classwork 2-12-24

I began the pencil case project, creating the two sketches I needed to make for all four sides by cutting, extruding, and copying each sketch.

Classwork 2-8-24

I began the process of gluing everything together, and although it went a little roughly, I was able to get the upper arm done

Homework 2-8-24

I fixed my revolute joint, making it slightly taller and made it so that the protruding beam is able to rotate with the actual hinge.

Classwork 2-7-24

I finally cut out the holes in the base plate and have now finalized all preparations, so that I can print these sketches out next class.

Homework 2-7-24

I imported my phone, and moved my beam so as to provide a much better viewing angle. After a few tweaks with the joints, I feel as if I will be done with my project

Classwork 2-1-24

I used this class to print out my lower arm. Next class, I will print the base plate.

Homework 2-1-24

In order to provide my phone with more stability, I created a different hinge with a wider beam in hopes of adding stability for my phone.

Classwork 1-31-24

I adjusted the position of my hinge, so it wouldn’t interfere with the front of my boat. In addition, I adjusted my extrusions on the side of my boat, and I added a back area of my seat for extra stability.

Homework 1-31-24

I created a revolute hinge, and connected it to my boat and my sail using various rigid joints. I also deleted some of the area around the seat, so as to accommodate both ways of the phone.

Classwork 1-25-24

I added many details to my boat, attempting to make the items keep my phone up. However, I didn’t add a hinge, so I will need to undo a bunch of things before I continue.

Homework 1-25-24

I completely remodled my boat, making it look much better and more realistic. This product took me a while, and I am proud of this design.

Classwork 1-24-24

I decided with an idea to create a floating boat idea for my phone case, and, as I had a lot of difficulty coming up with my design, this is all I managed to do in class.

Homework 1-24-24

I created some different ideas for my phone stand, and am ready to make my decision for which one I should use.

Classwork 1-22-24

I have spent today’s class time creating and brainstorming ideas for my phone stand.

Classwork 1-18-24

I have now completed my Fusion 360 LED Lamp project. Now, all I must do is print it out.

Homework 1-18-24

I successfully finished my base plate, leaving joining this creation with my main project as the final obstacle to completing this project on Fusion 360.

Classwork 1-17-24

I finished my phone orthographic drawing completely, and am now ready to focus on finishing my LED Lamp.

Homework 1-17-24

I created a new sketch titled “Back side” and got the exact measurements for the square as well as how far from the edge it is. However, I still need to find the fillet, find the radiuses of the three cameras, and extrude the final product with a taper.

Classwork 1-11-24

I completed all three of my buttons on the left side, leaving just the bottom and the back of the phone before my orthographic drawing is complete.

Homework 1-11-24

Making necessary updates to my orthographic drawing. I mapped out all of my additional findings as well as made changes to my previous data, which was slightly incorrect, making it easier for me to transfer all of this information to Fusion 360.

Classwork 1-10-24

Making progress with the project, I was able to find the exact measurements of the fillets as well as the distance of the on/off button from the top of the phone.

Homework 1-10-24

Creating a new project and component, I managed to complete a decent sketch of all details visible from the front of the phone.

Classwork 1-8-24

I started an orthographic drawing of my phone, getting all of my dimensions in preparation for creating this drawing on Fusion 360.

Classwork 12-13-23

I created two new components: the base plate and the base vertical. My project is coming together now, and it is almost finished.

Homework 12-13-23

I worked mainly on the lower horizontal part of the lamp, adding periodical circles and rectangles over certain dimensions.

Classwork 12-11-23

I duplicated my lower arm side and the small metal plate and began attaching everything in place, allowing the lower arm side to revolve about the z-axis.

Homework 12-11-23

I started creating a sketch for the lower arm side and also created the small metal and large metal plates.

Classwork 12-7-23

I saved my Fusion 360 project to a hard drive, which I then used to transport to another computer, using a laser cutter to cut out my measurements on a piece of plywood.

Classwork: 12-6-23

I saved my first two files in a new DXF file by creating a new folder for the project. I also created a new component: the upper horizontal, which goes in between the two upper arm sides.

Homework: 12-6-23

I duplicated my lamp side using the joint command and made sure my measurements were accurate so that I was kept up and ready for the next class.

Classwork: 12-4-23

I created the first part of the LED lamp project in class: the upper arm side.

Classwork: 11-30-23

I built my first item on Autodesk 360, familiarizing myself with the program and the processes I may need to complete future projects.

Classwork 11-29-23

I tested and familiarized myself with the site by uploading a picture of myself as a test.
